Writer of many things. Curious about many more. Sometimes I write social media posts, occasionally a brand positioning statement so emotional you may cry or start a revolution, a concept write up enfused with passion so you buy/join/share/buy again a product or service or a blog post about my life.
Being a copywriter is like having a term paper due that I waited till the last minute to start. But who doesn't love a win against all odds? After 20 plus years, I still love the pressure. I love learning something new. I love the process. I love the deadlines and the people I work with (even if we don't like each other all the time:) That tension is where the work gets beyond compromise to true collaboration. And transforms words and design from just 'marketing' to communication that connects.
What I believe:

-Every person you meet has something to teach you
-Complaining is a cheap way to get power
-We live in a time of creative synesthesia: we must be both thinkers and doers, artists and writers, programmers and painters
-We are living in a time where everyone is an activist
-Branding is a feeling more than a word or image
-Being a good sport, a curious mind and a hard worker always wins the idea
-Good ideas belong to no one in particular. If an idea is good, it is easily built on and shared by many.
